New Patient Comprehensive Exam
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting of your teeth and existing dental work, periodontal probing to measure gum health, intra-oral photos, a 3D digital scan, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take X-rays, which may include the panoramic X-ray. We can visualize the oral cavity, skeletal structures, and a bite-wing series to diagnose the bone level and decay between the teeth properly. Without X-rays, we cannot fully diagnose and treat you with the utmost standard of care.
Dental Cleanings
Our office will provide dental cleanings at routine dental visits. Cleanings are an important part of preventative care to stop dental cavities and gum disease. Our hygienists use stainless steel dental tools during cleanings to remove plaque and tartar from the teeth and gums. We will also provide a gritty toothpaste cleaning and fluoride.
Scheduling dental cleanings and office visits twice a year, or every six months, is a great supplement to a good oral hygiene routine. We can provide a deeper cleaning to remove bacterial buildup from hard-to-reach areas of the smile.
